100% hit life leech weapon not working properly?

Hi!

I bought a weapon named Breath of Dead because i thought that its 100% hit life leech tranfers all damage dealt to a monster to my HP..
But it is not working that way.. only a small amount of damage dealt is transfered .. what could be wrong?

Unfortunatly 100%life leech means you will leech 100% of the time, not 100% of the damage.

Im not sure of the calculation for how much you leech.

100% means it leeches on every hit, not that it leeches 100% HP.
It indicates probability not intensity of the leech.

From Stratics - Item properties:

Hit Life Leech
Intensity Range: 2 - 50
Found On: Weapons

A weapon with Hit Life Leech will have a percentage chance on each hit to convert 30% of the damage inflicted on the target into hit points for the wielder.
Meaning that if you hit your target for 50 damage, you have a chance of healing 15 hit points yourself.

Damage healed = (Damage done * 0.4)

Life leech on weapons was changed a little while ago. It's not as effective anymore.
