I started my char with 50 tailor 50 blacksmith. So far I'm focusing on the tailoring side of things and also building up hiding, magery, medi, & eval. I'm in the 80s skill with each.
With 1 account, it seems to me that doing BODs is a part-time job at best. Yes I can get my daily BODs, fill low-end ones I don't need and keep the ones I do need. Still, with a limit of 3 free BODs per day, it looks like it would take forever to build up the inventory needed to fill profit-making large BODs.
So far, after all this work, it looks like I got my hands on a spined runic BOD, without being able to fill it yet. Instead, it's seeming like I can use my newfound skills of sheep and lizardman slaughtering and be swimming in profits already
Or maybe I am missing something else here?
Depends on what your char is gonna be. Miner, smith, tailor, fighter or whatever. Remember, anyone with .1 skill in either smithing or tailor can pick up at least 3 of each of those particular bods per day. My 120 smith with .1 tailor is largely accountable for my 120 tailor/fencer to have probably 50k yards of cloth or more right now.
Gems from mining are good but are pretty much 5k items from what I have seen and I have mined a fair amount without trying to sell any. Good luck to you - I'd have a new char with both .1 tailor and smith as long as I could do it if you are new on Siege. Depends on what ya want to do while running with one account.
