Britannian Ship and PlunderBeacons

Anyone ever have issues with Britt ship bow cannon and beacons? I placed a Britt ship and attempted 2 last night. Both times I was unable to hit the lighthouse with the cannon. I got as close as possible - range was 12 tiles from the lighthouse (closest I could get). Tried every side along with grapeshot and cannonballs. First time I've tried the pirate stuff. I dry docked the Britt ship and bought an Orc ship. Had no issues with that. Range to lighthouse was 7ish tiles. Just now playing this content so not sure if I'm missing something.

Thanks for the reply. I did watch it. Had no issues with the actual fight. Seemed more like the cannon was unable to reach. Couldn't find any videos of people doing them with a Britt ship.

Thank you for testing and the screenshot. Did you try it from the opposite side also? And once you got in that position were all of those shots landing? Appreciate your input.

I only tried the one side all hits landed but only did 5000 damage as opposed to 6500 from orc ship

Use the sides , you have three of them

also Orc ship extra damage only saves a couple of shots. the bigger issue than firing is fitting that big sob in between other player boats

use one cannon on the sides at a time . aim the one your using right in the center of the two middle canons on the beacon . your other two will miss and waste your resources
