Georgios: I came to cove, when someone was Begging npcs, and it created a "65k" gold stack everytime. At first i darted for one, ran for the bank... and halfway i was like, wait, it feels too light

The mempo is not back at all as far as I understand. What was done was a way to give the Leurocian mempo you already own, a different form, thats all.

WOW! Nice..missed that one, you are right! They did not explain it too much. But ok. Now we get a chance to own the ugliest arti in UO, then we can look forward to devoting massive effort at changing its looks. But its ok, just greatful they added it also!

@MalagAste & @celticus when you use these recipes to convert your artifacts, it will be crafted by (your char name)
and if it is blessed before, you will need to get another deed (removes blessed status)

Yeah I noticed much of that when I converted both my mempos... thank gods for finally getting away from that hideously ugly thing... now I'm stylin...
No one I know has gotten a Mempo so far and as far as I know it's only on Charybdis...
I also will say that as far as I know the ONLY people getting a drop from Charybdis is the fisherman who summons it. No one else fighting it in party or not with the fisherman as far as I am told and have seen has gotten a drop now maybe someone else has seen something different than that but the only thing we've seen is the fisherman getting a drop... and it's always been some of that useless armor crap that it drops. Villainous/Virtuous junk no one uses.

LOL So they made the mempo drop rare, to Obscenely rare. But I reckon we cannot complain yet, and the publish is fresh. Just got to kill your 1000 Charybdis, then you may have a chance for the mempo. After you get the necessary items to summon it etc. Hopefully it will be tweaked a little.
I was doing charybdis with guildies other day, and got some giant koy steaks and a couple of stew buckets of something. Lootwise 1 useless legendary, and 3 items nice for trashing.
Is there an advantage to summon it near city-shoreline area?
It was kind of interesting but took a little time to knock out.
