If you own the "old" style castle and it has a tree in the courtyard, can you still place one of the new style castles? Thanks in advance for any responses.

No, anything that would block placing a normal house there will stop the new castles and keeps.

She can change Luna's look to appease a minion's whines about safes showing. Major pain indeed, but somehow she cannot find a way to place a plot over an obstacle.

Can you still place the original castle design around trees?
I was wondering if they changed that, when they changed the outline of the keeps...

You can still place keeps over trees at least, and I guess it hasnt changed for castles either.
