Well, I came to Siege with pretty much nothing but the good will of others and mine in return. We want to buy lots of things... where is it all?
dreadmares?
glacial hair dyes?
planeswords?
heritage tokens?
invasion spell books?
crystal teleporters?
True story.....if you get on the black list Noone will sell you anything.I guess in inactive players stable, bank, houses.
Or maybe no one really want to deal with you after that stunt saturday![]()
And this was what online gaming was before someone stuck the word, massively, in front of itTrue story.....if you get on the black list Noone will sell you anything.

Oh? This wasn´t a thread where you listed the stuff you had? Ok...
We assume they're guys.....perhaps they're the gal or gals in Arnold's signature file. Why does anyone need glacial hair dyes to be the pk-king of Siege? Do you wanna look lovely to each other, you sweet boys?

The Glacial hair is well known to add 50% damage to any blow, as the chemicals used in making said dye cause burns and infections on contact . . .Why does anyone need glacial hair dyes to be the pk-king of Siege? Do you wanna look lovely to each other, you sweet boys?

Ah, I am just a PVP-noob. You see? I should just shut up and go back fishing. Does glacial hair add strength to your fish baits, too?The Glacial hair is well known to add 50% damage to any blow, as the chemicals used in making said dye cause burns and infections on contact . . .
and it puts hair on yer chest!Ah, I am just a PVP-noob. You see? I should just shut up and go back fishing. Does glacial hair add strength to your fish baits, too?
Hah the rep system in that game was silly of course. You could just slap a begger every now and then to keep Edward, Korgan and them from getting too salty about all the do gooding. One thing about Siege that is very much different than most other shards........ News travels fast and to the farthest corners fast. Reputation actually matters (LOL I saw your post in UOHALL Eaerendil about liking the Baladurs Gate high res 2D) That reminds of another aspect of BG that no game has ever nailed down effectively A Reputation System, On prodo it is hard since you just change to one of the 7+ alts in your character stable. On Siege its a bit different and even if you have A lot of accounts it does not take long for everyone to know all of your alts. Anyway everyone starts at say 0 reputation and starts building + or - in the Community right off the bat.
Something else I would never give or sell event spellbooks, Dreads or anything high end to shard noobs that might only be around for a few weeks and never come back. That equates to just one more lost item or pet that can't be replaced.
It's a public house, I got a vendor. He could enter the upper levels but not the core rooms which are safe ;-)If he was able to attack you in your house from outside, you may want to go back and re-architect it a little bit... He could've been alerting you to a design flaw

I recently played through BG1 again and tried it as a Paladin Xar, Montaron, Edwin, and Viconia and was a fallen paladin pretty quick out the gateHah the rep system in that game was silly of course. I think it's called muscle memory and lots of practice, my friend. I'm sure you're familiar with Richard Bartle's four primary player types: Achiever, Explorer, Socializer and Killer. Bartle created MUD 1, you see, kicking off the endeavor all of us here enjoy so much. UO is, after all, a graphical MUD; hence all the You see a turkey sorts of messages and all those definite articles in names.1. These glacial beards... So silly
2. These guys are fast. I am really impressed. How can anybody be so fast with his bare hands?
3. If people like virem are so impressively agile and fast, I must say: Respect!
However, that does not mean that I like it when you try to kill me in my own house when I am eating a pancake, Sir. You should be more sociable! You may visit me again, virem, and I will share my pancakes with you!
By the way: Did you like my house? I think what PVP is for you, customizing is for me... If you need an architect for your God-of-PK-temple, I can design it for you ;-)
Another one from the Wizards/Blackisle franchise was Planescape Torment. I am playing around with again, that was a game way ahead of its time. It pushed the Infinity Engine to its limits, it was not popular with the masses though as it was more complex than the dungeon crawl every one wanted. BG2 I like but it was a cheez fest and who is not going to use the built in cheat consoleBG1 was a stunner ans still is. Ans remember Neverwinter Nights! Ok, off Topic
That I could live withImagine UO in Icewind Dale graphics. I have a dream...
Yep used the mod for that, if I am not mistaken it was still the infinity engine with some upgrades in the rendering and 3d acceleration? The last time i played bg1 i did it using the bg2 engine - big difference!
Depends. You can get everything from the EE's from mods pretty much (including the "hd" graphics) but the EE puts it all together simply, and you can play it on a tablet without the aid of extra apps. BG1 gets all the crap from BG2, kits, spells, etc, as well as new companions for both of mixed quality.yeap also had bg2 spells etc
Have you played bg2 enhanced edition? It looks good but dont know if it is worth the price (even Gog prices)
I only played wticher 3, but I really didn't dig it that much.yes Torment is my all time favorite and I replay it and iwd about once every 3-4 years. Been playing through the Fallouts recently. Then time to go through all 3 witchers again back to back to back.
There're no swords at all actually, with a few special exceptions.Torment was a step out the box of RPG games, when your first weapon is a scalpel..............
