I never get rare items either, but I got a Infested Tree. I don't see what is so different about it, it does nothing different from what I've seen less its only when locked down. I tryed placing on the ground and it still did nothing. ..?

From what I am understanding the grass tiles, the snow tiles, the poinsetta from Mesanna, the metallic cloth dye tub and either the Festive tree or the Winter tree are all a 'given', they will show up in each pouch. It's the Infested tree that perhaps is the rare one. So congrats Rumpy! I haven't recieved a card though from anyone, although it was in the Publish notes. Has anyone else?

As a side note, on a few characters, but not all, I've had to log in twice to attain the pouch.

I got 3 Infested trees and 2 mesanna plants from my accounts

No idea why the tree is infested as i can't get it to do anything yet.....still trying things.

One gripe though, why do i need grass and snow tiles??? House customising allready supplies that. Seem's these only really benefit or have use to those with a Keep or Castle?
I would have much prefered some fireflys or icicles to decorate house with rather than stuff i allready have access to??

Funny small detail. If the moons fail to align, you won't get the gift pouch and will have to log in with that toon again to get the gift pouch.

BTW: The Poinsettia gives 6500 Turn In Points - so its handled turn in wise as the old one from 2003 - so in the end, if you dont want to keep doubles for trading, you get a huge amount of points for it

Same here... same thing on Cats, Seige, Great Lakes, and Chessy... but only for some accounts. But if an account is affected, it seems to effect all my characters for a specific shard for that account.

I just got back home to start collecting all the gifts for trades and I have now tried all of mine and my husbands' accounts on multiple servers and no gifts at all

Same issues here. Getting gifts on some characters on some accounts, but no gifts on some. It doesn't matter if the moons align, still no gifts on some characters.

No gifts for me either. Nothing changes that so far. Packs are ok, relogged rebooted characters and accounts are old. I got a few before I read that some shards went down. Then none at all. heh! I so wanted to see an infested tree! Is it named infested or you click a normal looking one?

So-o-o... I logged on a couple of chars before work, and got a couple of pouches, but also had a char that DIDN'T get a pouch. Decided to deal with it later. Now no one on any of my three accts, on multiple shards (I play Europa) can get anything... have they taken the gifts down to prep a patch? If so, couldn't they post a little note?

Mesanna just made an announcement on other shards I believe, that the system is turned off whilst something is investigated.

Nothing has happened with my locked down infested tree yet. I also stealthed around it for the past 20 minutes and still nothing. So, I'm wondering if whatever it does doesn't work right now since gifts are turned off and/or I haven't waited long enough, hehe. Can't wait to see what it does.

As soon as i can figure out the 'trigger' to activate it i will post it but it seem's to be purely random. Try being hidden at the edge of the screen. ie, away from the tree.

Everything was blessed as soon as I got them, and that was within moments of this thread going up yesterday.

Hmm, i still get no gifts on my other chars on almost every shard so it might not be active again need to wait for Monday...

Btw, as Vor mentioned, everything inside the pouch has had been blessed right away, and the plant still gives you 6500 points for turn in - you just cant put blessed items directly into the trash containers at the bank - but you can use your trash barrel at your house OR you put it into a pouch and drop the pouch with it into the container at the bank...

So no worries, nothing changed here...

My guess is that the servers might have some troubles with the huge amount of items that have been placed in backpacks as so much people logged in to get them - maybe some memory overflow - but who knows and i guess it will be kept as a mysterium

I have put also blessed potted plants directly into the bank trash barrel in Luna without it complaining on Lake Austin.
Other than that, if you put your blessed ethereal steed into an unblessed bag and sink that bag into the trash barrel, it will consume your steed happily.
