The *Make Max* in the crafting menu is nice...BUT you still can't be unattended.
As a 100% die-hard CC player, that doesn't use UO Assist, I can make MAYBE 12 small tables before I run out of room, have to unload and click it again but it HELPS.
I can't sit there for DAYS grabbing an endless supply of resources out of a secure container in my house while I GM tailoring, I still have to WORK at it by re-supplying myself.
I play another MMO...a f2p that has an in-game bot system. I bot all day long, gaining exp and gold and only have to leave my *bot spot* every 6 hours or so to restock on my *Spirit*/Mana potions.
Why I came back to UO? It's more immursive..emursive? (Yes im too lazy to spell-check) When I go out hunting, I always have an extra bag/backpack/pouch with me and loot every single item from a corpse besides candles/regs/fertile dirt and the like and either A) sort it while I'm killing the next monster or B) sort it when I get home.
It really doesn't take that long to drag and drop 5-6 items from the corpse to your bag, does it? And why sort it on the battlefield anyway? I can see it now, World War 7, guys shooting guns and everyone yells STOP SHOOTING I GOTTA LOOT THIS GUY! :/
Don't stop killin just grab and go, sort later. I know everyone has their own style of play but if that style is hindering you, change it. It's the same thing as auto-loot, it just takes you a few extra seconds to get the items from the corpse into your bag. IF you had auto-loot, you'd STILL have to sort it out once it's in your bag, right? Unless you wanted something like WoW that tells you name/stats/str requirement of each and every piece of loot and you can decide what you want and what you don't..which brings me back to the *Please don't make UO like every other MMO out there* bit.
