This is bull****... If they want to have a meeting, they need to do it in a way that's not going to be chaos with everyone shouting their suggestions.

I have to agree with you there. Polls were carried out and the results sent to the devs. The groundwork has been prepared for the changes to be implemented. Having a meeting tomorrow evening is a recipe for chaos. I only hope the meeting is to tell us they are going ahead with the changes, and not to invite further debate on the issue.
Didn't you know....this is a great way to show good face. Saying they conducted a meeting with Siege. 9pm eastern....how many ppl do you think is going to make this. Also...the chaos if a lot of ppl do show.

Wow... maybe I shouldn't have spammed the poor cryer! lol All he kept saying was PvP Tourney! I'll do my best to be there. If our shard reporters can be there, that'd be great too! No matter what happened, there will be something to report. I'm sure hoping its good news rather than bad!

Ditto, like most events it's too early for us west coast peeps :/ Maybe I'll try to go into work a half hour early and duck out early, could potentially make it then. (Barring traffic). Someone there make sure you speak up for us non-faction peeps! (get rid of "owned by" and hero/evil dye effecting non-faction people)of course be at work...

1) Well, it IS an East Coast server...*shrug*
2) I think you have the discussion of removing the "owned by" on faction gear wrong. It's meant for other FACTIONERS to wear it, not non-faction. The removing hero/evil hue was for all the other non-faction gear so anyone could wear.
3) Hence bringing back cursed arties (for you).
Sadly, I work whatever days I want, but I already have my alloted days off all planned out. Had I know on Sunday I would have not skipped work on Monday so I could attend. Oh well.
If I happened to be a producer of UO and was going to an open meeting I would want to be well informed so my guess it that whom ever we are meeting has made good use of this board and done their homework. I am sure that this person knows all the things we asked for and has read all of the polling results.
My fear is that he will be speaking to 25 people...I wish we had more the 1 days notice so we could actually muster a crowd. As it sits I have my daughters year end concert and will not be able to attend.
All we can do is cross our fingers and hope that something good comes from this!

I will try to be there, but I have grad school work to do and the assignment is due tonight, so I can't put it off. I may be physically at the meeting, but not really there all the time.

Some advice to everyone that is a Siege player/supporter:
The best thing you (we) can do is to be prepared. A unified front is the best way to go. If you have 3-4 dozen people spamming various things, this will not go well.
I have, unofficially, led the charge for a Classic Shard for a long time now, and I can tell you, that getting everyone to agree on every single thing is not possible...but you can get a minimum "must have" punch list together that the majority agrees upon.
It sounds like some of you already have that, and that's good...but you don't want a bunch of rogue spammers F'ing up the meeting.

Basically, Cal and Messana came, people spammed, they said they would work with Bruin to get some changes made...said it would take until at least August before they could really get to it...then they handed out pies and killed us.
And I killed it single handedly with my right hand tied to my left foot.
Or was it my dragon who took part in the killing? I´m not sure...
got the whole thing on fraps, tho its so long I don't know if it can realistically be uploaded anywhere. Took me 4 hours to upload 6 min on FB the other day.

The entire meeting was a PR stunt to keep us dragging along. Calvin asked for a PM about the issues the majority of us agree on, which he already has.
The second part of the meeting was just a joke. He wouldn't even say Siege would get any dedicated dev time (meaning once again we're on the back-burner for everything). It was all about throwing us the idea of a bone without even giving us a bone or promising a bone (Using Bruin's words).

On the bright side, tomorrow we'll get a "History of Siege's Intent" from Calvin. That was the only definite assurance to come from the otherwise useless meeting.
