Koris's "you know your addicted when" tag was so amusing that I thought everyone would like to hear some more.

Heres one that I actually encountered:

YOu know your addicted to UO when your driving down the highway and see a huge herd of cows and you think:
"Dang, I could get some good taming points off that bunch....good leather too"

heheh, I use to say "i will take thee" irl alot. (you had to say that to do npc escort back in the day)

when i first played uo...my ex-gf (started me on uo) started an argument with the ticket guy @ movie theater...He was about 6'2 200+lbs. I was like 5'9-125lbs. I quickly grabbed her and dragged her away. She kept nagging that i didnt "stand up" for her. (all the guy did was roll his eyes when she paided the last 2 dollars in change.)
I calmly explained to her that i had no regs on me or i woulda owned that dude.

Heres one i have never told anyone...no joke....by far the most embarassing thing i've ever done. Wife and i were in grocery store..i had one peice of gum....as i unwrap it, she snatches it and pops it in her mouth...i yell "guards" (NO JOKE...) in the middle of a check out line. Everyone looks....my wife is choking on gum while laughing. I was pretty sure i was red as i told everyone "sorry, inside joke".

I flagged traffic for road paving/construction the past two summers. This one road had a crapload of traffic and there were housing additions being built on both sides. I noticed a large plot of land and though "I could probably fit a keep in there..." lol.

I was just thinking how much easier my move would be if I could put everything in the moving crate. It would also be good to have a trash barrel that deleted itself in 3 minutes!

Now back to RL packing...

My own personal encounter....

You know you're addicted to UO when you see sheep in the field and you think to yourself, "I can shear them AND get some meat for my pets"!

You are behind a slow person on the freeway and thay are just being a Azz, and you think man if i could just ebolt, flame strike or sick my WW on them!

You get up in the morning get in your car look at the gas gauge and think about how high gas prices are and Wish you could just gate or Recall to work.

You know you're addicted to UO when your sitting at work logged on the internet, on the stratics page Forums and Filling in This . . . .

Hi. My name is Elsgaroth Wander, and i've been a UO addict for 2 years. I dont have as many experiences as many of you, but who can deny the addictiveness of this game. I practically keep my UO CD under my sight all the time in case my computer crashes. I have a hard time trying to remember to call Brae by her real name in RL. I LOVE UO. Well, i gotta leave this meeting to work up fame and karma. Good luck on your getting over UO...psyche.

I work in a kitchen store, and today we got the new mixing bowls in....one set of which was in a familiar shade of eyesore. I immediately informed my boss that I refused to sell blaze colored anything. Needless to say, I got some wierd looks, and my boss tried to "explain" to me that the color is actually "tangerine." I don't care. I still refuse to sell blaze colored bowls, and allow people to put them in their kitchen >.<

You're watching TV and there's this commercial with a coast guard boat and you think 'If I could just double click my pitcher and use it on that wave a couple of times, I'd have a never ending pitcher of water.'
OR
Someone across the street from you is putting things out on the curb cuz their spring cleaning and you think 'If I could just salvage that and sell it back to the carpenter for a few gold pieces. . .'

I've been a UO addict from day 1, Literally. I remember getting the purple Beta CD in the mail from some gaming website. . .
and I remember the first time I saw a black pearl on the ground outside Skara Brae bank and I kept trying to get my dad to pick it up; but he wouldn't cuz he didn't know what it was or what it did. . . those were the days. We both still play, 8 years later. . .

you know you are a UO addict,... when you are doing a champ spawn with your guild and you forget to pick up your spouse from work ,... thats only happened once,...also you are addicted when someone cuts in front of you on the freeway,... and you say,"Do that again buddie,.. and it will be VAS ORT FLAM, KAL VAS FLAM!!!"

When you don't know everyone in the room you instinctively reach for all names. Done that a few times :/.

Someone might have said this already, but there have been a few occasions where I will zone out while someone is talking to me. When I decide it might be a good idea to tune back in, I almost always try and open up my journal.

I'm sure the look on my face must be priceless when I come to my senses and realize I'm groping for imaginary keys :p.

I've gone into the kitchen to feed the cats, calling "All follow me".

I was clearing out some of my (RL) son's old clothes and found a pair of unworn trainers....and I thought, "Hmm...I could pop these on the vendor" (don't you just WISH!?)

You Know your Addicted to UO when you call all your real life friends by their in game names ALL the time.

You Know your addicted to UO when your friends ask you how you will get there and you reply just a sec and i will open a gate!

You know your addicted to UO when you and friends are making plans to go somewhere and trying to find out how you guys will and you reply we can just recall there.

You know your addicted to UO when you find your self talking about the game to someone who knows nothing about it and you dont even realize it.

You Know your addicted to UO when you you see a fight and one of the guys gets KO'ed and you yell you just got 1 v 1 Pwn'ed!

You Know your addicted to UO when you go out to the club with UO friends and someone starts talking trash to you and you reply lets take this to fel and i will WTF Pwn you noob.

You Know Your addicted to UO when you miss work 2 or more times because the game and call in sick when you realize you are late.

You know you are addicted to UO when you are hanging out with friends being bored and out of no where say hey lets go do a spawn.

You know your addicted to uo when your walking down the street and wondering if you will be attacked and lose your armor.

You know your addicted to UO when you pick up one of your swords and wonder what the stats are of it. (DI SSI HCI DCI ect...)

You Know your addicted to UO when you dream about reds on Llama's (Old school players who PvP know what i am talking about)

You Know your addicted to UO when you dream that you are in the game doing stuff as if it was real life.

You Know your addicted to UO when you dream about the game wake up log in and wonder where the hell all those cool rares went that you just got.

You know your addicted to UO when you go to the Zoo and see the different animals and think about how cool it would be to tame them and tell them ALL KILL and send them after the little kid who keeps throwing stuff at the monkeys.

I Have done everyone of those above and more.
