She is tired. She is drained. She is in need of much rest, yet there is no rest for her. There is much she still needs to do, and Kirthag wonders if there is perhaps a bit is respite for her sometime soon.

She finished the final touches to The Iron Sword, proud of the layout and design for this new tavern and arena. As her pooka slows his trot to a steady walk from the Yew gate while nearing the abbey, Kirthag relaxes. Soon enough she'll be home. she'll check her vendors, give them their daily pittance, then meander over to the winery for some wine and bread. The pooka shivers beneath her, most likely thinking of the rest it needs as well in the shadows.

Nearing the All Yew Need, Kirth notices the raised flag on that contraption called mail box. Somewhere within her some butterflies flutter and a small sense of excitement awakens. A letter? Its been a long while since that little flag poked up. Kirth is amazed it isn't rusted in place actually. Steering the pooka toward the mail box, Kirthag takes a peek..

"A package!" she exclaims.

Taking the package, she dismounts her steed and it disappears in a puff. She tosses some gold at the vendors, then strides up the stair to her chamber. Once there, she locks the door, and heads for the ladder to the top level. Once there, Kirth drags a chair from storage and sets the package down on the floor in front of her.

Its neatly wrapped. No markings on it other than, From Seona. Kirthag racks her memory, then remembers the dark skinned elf she met in New Haven on one of her rounds there. Kirthag had given an empty book to the elf she now remembers. With a slight smile, she opens the package and sure enough, within finds a nicely bound book. "The Drow's Sacrifice" it is titled, and the celt's smile broadens.

She sets the book upon her chair as she stands. Soon she will return with a bottle of Yew wine and a loaf of bread from Skara Brae to settle down in comfort to read her new book.
