...the silver I have dumped into the faction chest. This is if I change factions?

Also, if I quit factions, if there was some time between rejoining, would there be a chance the faction silver would be available, or is it lost for good?...la

the silver is still there, counts for all the chests that exist and the prizes are available to you at any time.
