Right now enemies are joining their enemies' factions so they can attack tamers without having to deal with their pets. Is there some reason why pets can't attack faction mates? It might make sense if they wouldn't attack if caught in a field or aoe so that they wouldn't go after faction mates when accidents happen, but that's the one time they will attack faction mates.
