Wheat it does a GM good

I have been collecting sheafs of wheat and having trouble figuring out what to do with them. I took them to a grinding wheel but apparently the wheat doesn't work like cotton or wool on a spinning wheel. Can anyone enlighten me?

You need to use a mill inside your house for it to put out sacks of flour. Only other spot I'm familiar with working mills for players is the mill in Yew.

I'm not sure about how many wheat for a bag though.
