Using old pets

Did anyone found a way to use the "old" pets ?
I'm a little sad to have to throw my pure white cue

Why? You can just train them, same as everything else.
There's no difference there.

Because I start from 4 slots for a cue, so I can't get its full power

As soon as you try to customise it, it will correct itself back to 3 slots.

Not all pets change slot requirement. Cu sidhe and scree go to 3 slot, but most nightmares go to 3 too, giant and fire beetles become 1 slot.

No they were I believe 4 slot. A Sampire with 5 lessers is kind of nuts

Would be hard to fit the high taming a 5 slot would need on a Sampire but i have seen some crazy gear sold on the traders forum

You don't need high taming to have 5 one slot lessers....
