Did the server go down for the update today? Does it automatically kickplayers off, or will you only recieve the update when you next boot the client? I logged in this morning and didnt get anything...just wondering if Oceania even got the update yet?

Origin to be Published

Origin has the new publish at the moment, its not on the rest of the shards yet.

When a shard receives a publish it will be normally applied at the next regular server restart (5am AEST each morning for Oceania) after they have posted "All Shards to be Published" on uo.com

Also, a patch is different to a publish. A patch is an update to the client(s), and only changes files located on your computer; art, audio, etc... (9/10 a patch will come before a publish). A publish on the other hand is a patch that EA rolls out to the servers, and only changes files located on the server (often so they can work with the new client patch data).

Once a publish is deployed to Origin (the prodo test shard) it usually only takes a few days for it to be given the OK to be published to the rest of the shards, barring any major bugs etc...
