Is there an updated version of UOautomap that still works? If not, an equivalent?

If you do prefer UOAM over UOCart then there is a working product, you'll have to do some set up on your own. Look in the UO Resources sub-forum for a stickied thread titled "UOAM & UOCART ........" You'll have to do some reading but there is a workable product there.

Are you running both as "Admin"

Running it as an administrator worked! Thank you.

Next thing: show labels does nothing? I'd love a bunch of standard markers for towns, locations, etc.

you have to check the "consolidated" checkbox in the files tab of settings - there's info in the thread

ah, that worked. The info and files seem to be scattered around. It's a bit hard to find. Is this thing open sourced?
