These are snapshots of the wall objects in the software we make them in - before we process them to look like they do in-game.

The tall wall and column/arch pieces look too short to me by about 1/3. Will the cleanup process bring these pieces to the same scale as the original art?

I like how they look so far aside from that. I look forward to seeing the pieces after they are cleaned up. :)

The process we put them through brings them up to proper height.

Interesting. Can you talk about the process at all? I'm curious to know how it works. I would have thought that you could just make the pieces the right size, clean them up a bit after rendering, and then plug them in the game.

Thanks!
Well, I can't go into too much detail at the moment, but the thing is that isometric projection is easy in 3D getting oblique projection is a little trickier. When I first started coming up with a 3D template for the wall pieces, it was a LOT of trial and error, getting the oblique projection causes a lot of stretching, and we compensate by making the walls shorter.
