(Having player-owned houses control access to the Abyss is bad design. Players can make the house private, not place a teleporter, quit the game, or die. If you rely on players to be nice, dependable, and immortal, you are going to be disappointed. I got an error message aswell. The account is either not linked to a master account, not paid for or banned for cheating. Reason 1 and 3 are not true.

Honestly I don't know..but I would think that once an account is processed the system will recognize it and you should be able to just log in....at least I HOPE that's how it works....there's no information either way regarding this so your guess is as good as mine....they did take account management down to update it so I am ASSUMING that's why....but who knows with Account Management :/

I also have all mine for the past 18yrs written down on paper.

Yeah, 24 hours, just like they stated in their news.
This isn't done manually, they'll let a script run over their DB and just solve conflicts manually, should some pop up...

If the down time is related to EJ it should say so. NOT being down at all on a release day would be better. Just more confusion... not good.

The account center went down 2 days ago...they probably started it then because 24 hours is not long enough I don't think

I think they are HOPING it will be done tomorrow.....but we shall see.

They most probably said 24 hours to have a buffer, should some unexpected issues arise.
I don't really care when they started. The important thing is to finish within the announced 24 hours.

I made a trial account as well and it has all the EJ restrictions. In account management for end date, it has NA rather than an actual date.

EJ has been up and going for several hours now and i just went through 20 old accounts and none can log in.

i would have imagined that they would have had the DB updated PRIOR to the release so that when they actually have the release people could log in, no?

thats like opening up a restaurant and telling people that you wont actually have food there to serve for another 2 days.

Thats why your account is EJ yet. They said it can take up to 48 hours for existing accounts to be converted (Which yours is since you made it before EJ was turn on)

Update 4/5/2018 6:00pm ET: The account transition process is continuing. Based on current processing rates we expect this process to take as long as the next 48 hours to complete. Since the starter kit is so cheap for what is in it then I hope they drop prices on some of the other things. Shard transfers and Mythic tokens would sell like crazy at half or less than what they are now, and pricing would be more consistent for what you get.

I think once the account management site is back up then we'll be able to log in..no sense trying over and over to log into dormant accounts until then since new EJ accounts need go to through that to get online, so we have to wait another few days.

It's been back up for hours...clear your catche and try account management page again.

Do you see everyone complaining that it isn't ready yet because the database is being processed as we speak? Likely they won't send out email notifications until things are a bit more settled and fully implemented.
