it would be awesome if he did but you should never assume!
:)

There is basically 2 numbering systems in existence...
the THB/Stratics system, and the goodman system...

only way to know for sure is to try a map and see!

Under the THB/Stratics system #5 is Dot island, if your #5 is not then its the goodman system.

That link goes to the Cox Cable home page.. lol
Sorry was trying to link it to where I have it for people that ask for it

http://members.cox.net/mrcleve/UOTH/uo-osi.zip see if this works? Also see if you can get this as well. http://members.cox.net/mrcleve/UOTH/uoth.exe If you right click and save target as, you should have no problrms.

And here is the readme file http://members.cox.net/mrcleve/UOTH/readme.htm

You need both files together to have this work, the readme file is not necessary, but you still might wish to have it. Put all in a UOTH file in your program file and then get a desk top icon from it to bring it up when you are doing maps. No need to go online, I hate when Stratics would be down and I could not see maps I needed to look at.

Also note for those using 2D, that the UOAM data file in a sticky above includes both THB & Goodmans numbers (unlike the original version of the data file), and have been double-checked for accuracy.

Note however that there MAY be another Eiffel island location not in either system, that appears on maps to be identical to the bottom left location, until you try to dig it - that location is a few steps to the east, and is actually close enough that GM mining will let you dig it from the catalogued spot.

I created my own treasure hunting library with own maps on Catskills, but I used the same numbering system as Stratics, as everybody uses it. It almost has become a standard.
