Since we have a venting thread I thought maybe we can have one to talk about the good random toons we played with. I'm pretty sure you can name toons if it is in a good way. I'll start.

Thanks to Madame Keirnan, Tornado, and Trixie MacRoni in the DA today. You ladies were awesome! It was the fastest, most pleasant, DA that I have done in a long time. It flowed seemlessly and we worked great together. Everyone knew what gag to throw when and whose turn it was to sound, drop or trap. The funny speedchat we came up with just made it even better. Thanks to a great, didn't know it was possible, DA!

Good idea! I think we did this before somewhere. I would love to thank the 3 toons I did my last DA with for a very easy run. This was the first run in a very long time that there hasnt been massive problems. Quick and easy and MAN I needed it to be!! I was at the point of forgetting law altogether for now because my on-line friends list is empty since the baby black cats were born!! LOL. You three made my day!!! Thanks!!

I've played with you so many times as Squeaker but that was my first trip with McSgt. Thank you! The first set of cogs was uneventful - sure most of us were a little small but a pretty good team I thought. Then the skel round came... We listened helplessly as the other side went sad. Then they turned their attention to us. We did lose one just as you threw a tu unite, but you saved the remaining two. After that, a lure unite, wedding cake, and geiser - we all safely ran back to the playground.

You are awesome! Thank you for restoring my faith in others!

Today, in NR/TTC (Welcome Valley)
Tall orange cat named Chester, 65 laff, toonupless/lureless (maxed throw), doodle named Buck.

I needed a few beans so I hopped into the trolley. He hopped on and stayed in the trolley with me until I maxed my purse (I was nearly on zero). Was fun and even got a group perfect on the ring game.

So a definite thanks to him and if you happen to see him, be nice.

I can't believe how quickly my laff went down when that sound missed and then the cogs just attacked again without letting us choose a gag!! And they all went for me!! I owe you one bigtime!! I would like to thank all the toons on stratics who are always helpful and always willing to help out another fellow stratics player.

There are so many randoms that are helpful, many more than there are evil ones. BTW, when is that Meow Meow gonna get kicked out!

Also, kudos to Fangs for helping all the new McWolfs. I don't play mine often enough, but whenever you see Raven McWolf you always invite me to come along and help me get a little bigger.

Also, kudos to Fangs for helping all the new McWolfs. I don't play mine often enough, but whenever you see Raven McWolf you always invite me to come along and help me get a little bigger.

I try to help the weakest McWolf's first, to try to help them get stronger and more independent. As a McWolf gets stronger, I tend to help them less and focus on other McWolf's that are lower laff.

The idea behind it is that with lower laff, it's soooo much harder to do some of the tasks, even with others who are of equal or slightly higher laff. So I like to get players to a point where they can do things on their own a bit easier and then back off. Since most (if not all) players have higher laff toons that they've worked before, they have an idea on how to play. But at the same time, don't want to carry someone so much that they forget the importance of knowing their own limitations.

Ok now!!! LOL I DID trip a few puzzles last night....just a few!! Something about knowingly running directly into a skull thinking it was safe!!! But in my defense, 2 nights in a row I was up til the wee hours of the morning after having crazy full days that started at the crack of dawn. Oh and who was with me???? HMMM??? Oh thats right, a little pinky duckie!! Lets do one more she says!! But really, when I almost went sad it was because sound missed in one of the sets, the cogs attacked twice, AND I was sleeping when I ran the red lights so my laff was like 80 to start. We should get the story straight though, and I'm sure Marge will agree, I was very efficient at tripping the minesweeper puzzle last night too (not including the one I tripped thru you). I almost NEVER trip that one!!! Its a good thing you guys like me so much!!

THE funniest part of the evening was when I refused to do the other skull puzzle and you said jokingly "watch this" fully intending to just run up and trip the stupid puzzle (I mean, why not? Susan will just trip it anyway!!) and you end up solving it!!!! Now THAT was funny!! Then of course you cant forget me saying I'm done with the puzzles and refusing to do another one (I HAD no more level 7s) only to coach you from 15 ft back which one was safe and of course I tripped the puzzle through you!!! Guess that is what 4 hours of sleep will do to you.

Only 13 more DAs to go!!! How many puzzles is that????? Maybe I dont want to know. (You will find me waiting by the door or standing in the corner for all 13!!!) You guys can do the puzzles, I will stand in the corner planning more presents for Josh!!!!

i had the most pleasant surprise in tt in a long time tonight.

i had had to bail on a 5st (gags missed too much early on), and as i restarted it with my 3 toons, a random hopped on. i figured i was in for it, but i am very very happy to report i was wrong.

the toon's name is quacksalot and when we played he was a 116. he's a small yellow duck (shortest combo i think), and was a total sweetheart.

he helped me gag train through the whole of the building. waited for a new invasion when one ended, lured for my traps, used small gags so my duck could work her drop, and even waited till last to get on the elevator (bowing when my last toon got on even!!!!).

quacksalot, if you read this, i want to thank you again for all the help. you are a sweetheart. thank you so much again for being so helpful to toons you didn't even know. i hope to run across you again.

After many days of him being the nicest toon - I have to give a shout out to a toon named Black Ice, 129 black cat (one of many of his toons that I've met). We are randoms to each other, yet whenever we run into each other - quite often I might add - he goes out of his way to help me. He pulls me into a street battle to see what we could work on together and off we go. After this week of glitchers and griefers, playing with someone like him keeps the game fun!

A Million Thanks to a purple cat 105 laff named Reggie who escorted Lawnchanee through a coin mint to finish her 30 loan sharks task. No one else seemed to be around and we ended up on a level with no barrels at all. Reggie was a great partner for a two toon run, and kept up positive speedchat throughout! Yay Reggie!!

This is rather sad- three VPs with me and you went sad three times.
I feel just awful.
And for the last one, we were even on the same side, for the first time all morning. But we had a stupid cat with us (thanks, cat!) who HAD gags and DIDN'T use them. If he had, I could've lured and you might have made it.
So please, all Stratics toons, if ever you come across Ace of Spades, take a second to whisper a "You rock!"
