Tokuno Dyed Parrot Perchs

Ok I know i did it with the Fire Parrot i got a long time back have now managed another of the rare parrots and want to put him also on a luna white parrot perch.

I remembered that i had to use 1 of the rare woods to be able to dye the deed. So I made the stand deed, dyed the deed and now when I try to use deed and target parrot it tells me that I am not in a house owned by me . . . ummm yes I am.

Not wanting to try different combinations and wasting Tok dyes thought I would ask here, was I supposed to put parrot on stand and then dye with tok dyes or what step am I missing to get this to work again, TY.

I wouldn't be surprised if the dev's squashed this bug when they squashed the bug of dying swamp armor deeds with Tokuno dyes last week.

You're supposed to dye the deed first I'm pretty sure. Not sure what's going on, you can try making another perch out of oak and then slime dying it (works the same as tot dyes) then try it with a normal colored parrot.

Yea not really sure what the problem is there, ive never dyed parrot perches with tok dyes before. But while we are on the subject of parrots perches.. I have a question Ive been wondering about for a little while. I know the answer is probably a no but, once you place a parrot on a perch, you cant put the same parrot on a different perch can you? If you can could someone please tell me how?

You have to dye the deed of the parrot perch before using the perch (just like any deed item).

Once a parrot has been attached to a perch they are stuck forever together.

Putting the axe to a placed parrot perch with a parrot on it will place the deed back into your pack and it will keep the color it had when it was in deed form.

Once a parrot is on a perch it starts to age and doesnt stop even in deed form.

A parrot is lost forever if the house it is in ever collapses...(watching a rare parrot disapear like this is pretty sad imho)

Let me know if i missed anything.

I re-read your post and you say you target the parrot...you first target the location you want your perch to be placed then place the parrot on it.
