Ok, I'm bored...Lets make the largest thread in Stratics history.

Anything UO related is welcome here. I'll start it off by saying Ultima Online is once again going to be THE game to play. Hopefully many others will realize this and come join the fun.

Speaking of threads and godzilla, it's interesting that 10,000 spools of thread are the same size in UO as 2 spools of thread.

Erm... anything? Sure I'll share.

--www.uothief.com Latest News--

-I may start playing Chad again and continue the episodes where I left off.

-Currently trying to trade my Royal Guard Investigator event cloak. Details in the Rares Collector forum.

-The first volume of The Magic Arts and Crafts, written by Gerome, is going to soon be completed.

-The second set in my UO based MTG Psuedo set, "Age of Items" is almost complete. I got confirmation that Eggman from www.sosariantales.com will do some more art for it. It's very kind of him, but he's unsure if he will have time. If everything goes as planned, he'll end up doing all the art for all the potions. I got permission to use two of his existing potion art from his storys which appeared in the first set. Now he'll end up being the artist for all the potions in the next two sets (Age of Items & UO Gods). Which I think is really cool.

-I should be on www.uoradio.com live on sunday, february 11th. Part of their community interviews. Unless something changes in the near future.

-My little site is still chugging along.

Hi, my name is Larisa. I have been playing UO for 3 years.

Um....I like growing plants and doing peerless...and spawning too..oh and Harrowers are fun. And...Fandancers are not...oh and blackrock infected Ancient Wyrms hurt...OH and fan dancers are no fun for me anymore.

I am also very proud to be an Origin Shard News Reporter and strive to do my best to bring the latest news to the community.

That is all I have to say, thank you.

Oh wait..one more thing....GO BEARS!!!

Lies!

Maybe in today's UO, but in the T2A days... I remember it very clearly. I think my friend was naked, because I tricked him into pooling our 200 newbie gold into buying a Ringmail tunic. (It was only 100 gold per newbie back then.)

I had a Ringmail tunic. He was naked. I'm not sure what weapons we were wielding.

I died.

Yeah. It seems all of the legacy monsters are much weaker than they are now. Not that mongbats are what I'd call strong these days...

Is the newbie a human? If so, my money is on the newbie. All he has to do is tame it, which any human character can do.

There's a big holler tree down the road here from me where ya lay
down a dollar er two. Well you go round the bend and when you come
back again there's a jug full o' good ole mountain dew

Oh they call it that ole mountain dew and them that refuse it are few.
I'll shut up my mug if you fill up my jug with some good ole mountain dew.

Now my uncle Nort, he's sawed off and short, he measures about four
foot two, but he thinks he's a giant when you give him a pint of that
good ole mountain dew.

Well my ole aunt Jill bought some brand new perfume. It had such a
sweet smellin' pew, but to her surprise, when she had it analyzed, it
was nothin but good ole mountain dew.

Well the preacher rolled by with his head heisted high, said his wife
had been down with the flu, and he thought that I ought just uh sell him
a quart of that good ole mountain dew.

Well my brother Bill's got a still on the hill where he runs of a gallon
or two. Now the buzzards in the sky get so drunk they can't fly from
smellin' the good ole mountain dew.

Oh they call it that ole mountain dew and them that refuse it are few.
I'll shut up my mug if you fill up my jug with some good ole mountain dew.

I was born in Louisiana, lived in Texas, then in Florida off and on. Michigan is my love (only during the spring/summer though). Believe me, if I could afford to snowbird back and forth between MI and FL, I would!

I'm not overly worried about it, although my wife is rather fond of rubbing it in. I suppose after I turn 30 I'll continue to play UO, and kids play games, so I must not be that old.
