The unfortunate truth is that teleportation is some of the most spaghetti of all the inner workings. Unless it's absolutely necessary we try not to touch that code, as it is so intertwined with other systems that the effects of even the smallest change can be widespread and potentially disastrous. We took a look in relation to the Skara Ferry and unfortunately it was better left untouched.
