Last friday the Tyrant King Casca struck back at the Republic!
The Vesparian forces scouted a small barricade in a field to the west of Vesper where the new Commander of the Royal Guard, Dorat stood waiting.
After exchanging of a few words between the Marshall of Vesper and the Commander the royalist forces made their move!
From the forests they came, ambushing the Vesparian army with vast numbers. After the Vesparians successfully repelled the ambush force, Commander Dorat made a run for it towards Minoc followed closely by the Republic Army.
As the Vesparian forces chased after Commander Dorat they were met by stiff resistance as more Royalist forces clashed against their ranks.
After a bloody battle up by Mount Kendall bridge the Vesper Town Bell could be heard ringing leading to the retreat of the Republic forces back to the city.
The alarm sounded due to a new barricade at Vesper crossroads with a large force of Royalists garrisoning it. The Republic army regrouped and headed off to confront the barriacde.
After a warning to the Royalists to remove themselves from Republic Soil and their refusal, a battle broke out. The Vesparians fought bravely but were already exhausted from battling two large forces moments before; they had to pull back.
Casca shall pay for this!
