That was WAY harder than I expected!

So, I finally got my Cu to her first level of 100% and saw that lovely "your pet is ready to train" message! I excitedly rushed back home to train my pet.

Following the wonderful "Pet Training A-Z" post, I clicked the "plan" button, and planned out all of my points (except for 1 lonely little point that I couldn't find a place for).

Clicking the "disable" button on the planner, I searched in vain for a way to apply these points to my Cu...nothing! Reading all of the info I could find, there should be a "train pet" button someplace. I couldn't find one, no matter where or how hard I looked.

Finally after about 30 minutes searching on Stratics, I found a post that told me EXACTLY how to train my pet. I had no idea you had to click back into the stat you wanted to train AGAIN after disabling the pet planner and add the amount of points you want to put into the particular stat and then click the "train pet" button.

Really, there should be some sort of "apply all" button or something like that on the Pet Planning screen. Or at the very least some way of telling people exactly how to find the "train pet" button.

There should also be something that tells you that you have to use all of the points (or remove the remaining points you don't use) to begin the next phase of training.

Now that I know all of this, the next round should be much easier....maybe?

Any chance of changing the "Pet Training A-Z" post to included these little tid-bits for idiots like me?

I still use the planner. It would be nice if there was a single button to apply the planner, as I have come up with a good plan only to make a mistake while adding the changes, so annoying!

Man I spent over an hour trying to figure it out yesterday and the wiki page explaining it was down for a couple hours. Didn't even see the part in the training a-z thread, I was reading it, it changed my life lol I maxed my Cu on the crazed mage in a couple hours, then spent a couple hours trying to figure out the training menu, it's unintuitive, I was assuming hitting the disable button cleared out all the crap you'd added to the plan, not switch the mode.

Then, after I spent all my points and was ready to train skills, I went to a rune library and recalled to a beginner mob and upon recall my Cu I'd just put all these scrolls on disappeared! Vanished, I logged in/out twice and nothing, and I had to go to work..... Finally someone said check the stables and there it was in the stables.....
