General Stone Form and Refined Armor Bug

I wanted to know if stone form is stackable with refined armor?

Currently when I cast stone form (without any focus) it seems to over ride the refined armor's max resists bonus. I have 75 physical and fire resists, however when I cast stone form it bumps me back down to 71 for each.

Is this the way it is supposed to be? Or is this a bug? Any input on this would be much appreciated.
