Stacking Arcane Gems ...?

Greetings: Forgive me if I am in err here, but I thought that this latest publish/patch would enable the stacking of Arcane Gems. I tryed earlier today with some I have had for several years and they did NOT stack.
Any comments regarding this issue...?
