Soloing Shimmering Effusion

Is there anyone out there who has mastered this who could give me pointers on how they manage it?

I have no trouble gathering keys but I really cannot seem to figure out what it takes to solo this one.

I worked this a lot trying to figure out the best approach. I only ever found d one player who could solo without dying and they were using a max hit fatigue weapon with an unusual mix of mods iirc. Ultimately I just resorted to taking a backup toon who held supplies and cast tree / wod at the end. It is possible to solo but definitely more difficult than medusa, paroxy, or melisandre. Having a second toon will speed recovery and finishing up a lot.

The way I remember it working solo was with a bard. Use a disco/provoker. Do enough damage to make effusion spawn corporeal brumes, fetid essences etc. Provoke the plain wisps onto effusion or the spawn. The area damage they do when killing wisps (if it works properly and they haven't changed something) makes them attack one another. The big blobs fight effusion doing most of the work for you. There is an old stratics post on this. It may or may not still work.
