A lot of people already know that I got the bug to update my site again and I've been mass PMing just about everyone for permission to put up their stories on UO Thief. I just got done adding 30+ more to the list this past week, mostly from Evil Lord SMuRFY, Shinobi, and Oblivion:

(This is also the first time I took a couple from the forums without asking permission, but I just grabbed some from people who had less than 10 posts from 2007-2009. I doubt they check their PMs on stratics.)

So yeah, lots of updates and a lot more stories. Still looking through other people's old stuff from the people I PM'd. If any other thieves out there that have any of their own steals they want on here, let me know. My site gets a ton of hits and I don't play any more so I don't have any hidden agenda or anything. (250,000+ page views per year over the past 5 years.)

The one I really want to put up (in like a big multi-part steal) is everything about the Rares Festival Heist from last year. But from what I read, different people were telling different stories. I still have no idea what happened. And I don't see Tetricyde around these parts anymore.

One more thing:

I know what you're thinking when it comes to Shinobi, Oblivion, Tetricyde, and the rest of the gang, but here's how I see it: There's a big difference between scamming and cheating. (Even if you want to call it scamming instead of persuasion stealing.) I have no interest in stealing that way, but they're not hacking accounts or anything like that. I figure post every story, no matter how the steals happen, and let everyone who reads the stories decide what's better. And if they decide their way is the best way to steal then so be it. It's all good. It's just a video game.

(I've never commented on this stuff on Stratics before. I think the "I'm right", "no, I'm right", "uh-huh", "nuh-uh" talk gets old real fast. And yeah, some people think me killing a couple miners and tricking a lot of people into opening trapped crates is the lamest thing in the world. I say put it all up and let the readers be the judge.)
