Slayer instrument question

With the way slayer weapon and spellbooks have changed so the specific slayer does more damage than a super slayer would, does that mean like a spider slayer instrument would have a better chance on narvey than a arachid slayer instrument?

Hey guys - having been away a while there are still some changes i'm not up to speed with - what's this all about?

I'm guessing specific slayers work better now than super slayers - but to what extent? How does it work for bard/melee, does anyone know plz as it doesn't seem to have been factored in to the stratics calculators yet...?

Slayer Instruments were unaffected by the change to Slayer Damage, as they do not do damage.

Super slayer instruments are as effective as their specific slayer counterparts (dragon slayer is equivalent to reptile slayer when used on dragons) . Using and opposing slayer type instrument still incurrs the same penalty.

To reiterate, nothing has changes with how slayer instuments work, so the bardic calculator is still current. Feel free to dig through the FOFs on that explained the change to slayer damage only(they are a pain to search through).

Not a guess. The change was made to Slayer Weapon/Spellbook Damage only. This same question was asked after the change to the slayer damage.

would love to see where this is answered from the devs just for my own personal curiosity, but i dont have the time nor the will to go searching through all the old posts, hehe
