I wish I was in the mood to celebrate - I went to Marcon to have fun this weekend - only to be at the most depressing convention I've ever attended. IT was like everyone was in shock (and truthfully, many were).
Robert Asprin (author of the Myth series and Thieves World series of books) was our scheduled guest of honor, for the con that ran from 5/23 to 5/25...
He died of a heart attack on 5/22, preparing for the convention. Most of us didn't find out until we arrived.
