Simolean Wipe

I worked hard for the simoleans I have. I really hate to lose them all. Will the simolean exchange be available before the wipe? I would really like to put them to use in paying for game time or something. I hate to just lose them. It took me all year to earn them (honestly I might add). I don't have as much as most do, but still its the principle. Help?
