I don't disagree. But I also don't see any problems with it either. It was created for whatever reason, and it isn't just a photo shopped item.

I am, however, interested in any additional information regarding this item. If there are more in existence, etc....I am rather curious.

I recall a room in doom on some shards with things like that. If its indeed from that room, it's probably not something you should have or at least display too much.

I've asked around....no one has seen or heard anything about it. I'm assuming it is unique now unless it can be proven otherwise.

Still debating if I should sell now, it would be a nice item to imbue as a mage weapon....
