a few of us went the other day and I had no problem discoing them occasional fail but not to bad

not sure whats with the mana diversion though they were doing that to me also especially its seemed if I ran masteries

Hey Poo, could you help us old bards out a bit here and tell us if you use any of the "masteries" in the "new" Shame? And are those "new" mages subject to my Repond Slayer lute?

i havnt done any real experiments, but i assume they are repond.
as the normal EML's are repond (thats Evil Mage Lords)

on my disco tamer i find that even though i dont have med or focus, that dropping the disco mastery on the unbound EVs helps a LOT with getting them down faster.
so disco, dragon on, dispair whenever i can get the mana for it.

as for my pure bard i have been running the provo mastery with him.
gives all my summons more UMMMF

so disco, provo, drop some EVs and put on mastery or both.
some direct spells.

i also have been using my Vollems down there and they have been eating stuff up good.
course im being a winp and letting either a warrior or dragon take the hits and i put my vollems in after.

Can you explain (to a bard that did the "masterys" to get the book, but has never "used" them in battle) what you mean by "put on mastery or both" above ^^^ ?

same with the peace ones.

the first provo one gives your summons and pets and anyone in your party and within a radius of you a big boost in HCI, SDI and DI.

Both the Provo mastery AND the Disco mastery at the SAME TIME? I thought you could only use one mastery at any given time?

thats correct, you can only use one mastery at a time.
BUT, each mastery HAS 2 SPELLS!
and you can cast BOTH spells a and have them both running at the same time.
just eats more mana.

If you do any of the vortexes or elementals, a disco/sampire is by far best. With my air ellie slayer double axe I do 120ish dmg on average and doublestrike every 3 hit or so and sometimes I drop a tribulation on them for added 60 dmg per hit. I killed 3 unbound EVs in the time it took a disco/tamer in my guild to kill 1.

And yes, the mages are repond slayer.

typically i go in with my warrior with a wind ele slayer.
and my disco tamer with a rune beetle.

that way i disco the UEV, warrior honors and takes him, beetle comes in and armor corruption.
tamer drops on mastery.

i can outkill plain sampire in more then 1/2 the time.
but i should, cause im there with 2 toons, hehe

i love it when people come up and see 3 UEV's on my warrior and i can tell they wanna ask if im ok, then they notice im taking no damage and all 3 of the EVs are going down in chunks with every whirlwind hit.

still.
there is something to be said for spellweaving.
i was in there with my spellweaver tamer and when i started dropping WOD on the EVs they went down FAST.
level 6 crystal and maxed out SDI and diso on it allready and pow, WOD just rocks them!
but it rocks everything really.
