removal of post-idoc item from newly placed home

i recently placed a home (castle!) in a location that i am very happy with.

there is a lantern that seems to be left over from an old idoc,
hanging in space (about where the 2nd or 3rd floor would be).

is there a trick to remove it or do i need to try a gm?

GM has to poof it

Congrats on your new castle!
Yeah, you will have to page a GM to have them remove the item. No other way around it.
