(Question) Recently Returned

Hey everyone,

I quit playing around 2003 and recently took on a trial subscription. I used to play a healer mage by the name of Spion Kopp. Was just wandering if there were any guilds out there looking for a new(old) member? Also, where is the hub of activity on the server and whats pvp like nowadays?

You asked about PvP so might I assume you are looking for a PvP guild?

PvP on Catskills is "interesting" to say the least. Sometimes we get an influx of off-shard pvpers who put up a good fight, other times it seems everyone leaves and you can't get a good fight no matter what time you are on.

Sometimes there are blues to fight at Yew Gate but that can get annoying. The biggest problem I've seen is it seems hard to get each group to field numbers at the same time. It usually feels like one group has numbers when the other doesn't and vice versa. It can still be fun though, is Catskills where you used to play?

Yeah I played GL for a few months after launch then moved to Catskills with a friend till I closed my account around the time of pub 16.

I logged in last night and while some of it was familiar its apparent I need to learn the game again. Interesting that the game has been around that long that I could get that feeling back.

It really does seem that anytime you've been away from UO for that long it does become a different game. We are all still in the same underpants though...

Yeah. Since I gave away my old account I'm starting from scratch. Already found the escort quests again hah. Anyways I don't believe I answered your question earlier. I wouldn't mind joining a pvp guild, however at this point in my characters development it's kind of pointless.

Mostly I'm just looking to hook up with some folks and enjoy the game again.

Good news!

Got my old account back. Remembered my password and gave it a shot. It was funny logging into character after character logged out in the middle of the wilderness where my large tower was.

Only about 80k left on the characters though. Must have gave money away or something.
