Is it possible to change races though game quests, from gargoyle to elf? Or is it only possible to do it through an origin store purchase?

Race change: from Gargoyle to Elf?

Only 1 way to know... go do the quest? I've never had the urge to do this simply because Gargoyles can fly and have a GD at the same time. No other race can be mounted and have a GD.
In all seriousness though, I do believe you can do this. I read about it long ago before swapping skills around on all my chars and just making my 1 garg my tamer.
