Frankly he didn't care that Bladderstick had been beaten to death by an enraged crowd, but the Law was the Law, and he was only to be cleanly executed at the Kings wish. And it was infuriating how, although Blackthorn would never admit to it, it was causing the good King considerable anguish, as he'd expected so much better from his people when released from the Codex demanded scripture. Well, Skaros would ensure that none of this went unreported, even if it went unpunished for now! He, the Spymaster, would remain the defender of the written Virtues, and make sure he had written reports of all those who thought Justice meant mob law!
