Question on resizing house

Can I resize a public house? What happens to the vendors after resizing? Basically I have no contact with someone who have vendors in my house and I really like to resize my house.

Another question. My bank storage is full after I moved the important items to the bank. The things still in the house are all trivial. I know people can grab them after resizing. My question is that if things fall all over the place, can I still place a new larger house without moving things out of the way.

Thanks for any reply.

No idea about the vendor question, but your stuff should not block placement. When I resized I had some junk that I left and had no issues, it will all just collect under the house sign after you place the house.

Sorry to say, you are hosed.

We cannot do anything with our homes while there is even one rented vendor inside. This is a source of frustration to me. Not even one tile can be changed/customized, never mind dropping the house aka resizing.

I can understand not allowing dropping/resizing, because the renter would lose their gold and items. But customizing? I guess if we walled over the vendor it would go to the sign, which could be used to grief....

Can't trade a house you own vendors on either, but rentals are fine in this case (the contract goes to the new landlord.)
