So if I have 5 accounts, Can i play EC on 3 of them and 2d on the other two? Or is it after I download EC and have to play EC on all accounts?

The client is just a way to access your game account to play. It not tied to your accounts. You can use either client on any/all of your accounts.

no you have to have both clients installed then you just load the client you wish to use .. you will have 2 icons on your desktop! or werever you put them!
