Isn't adding only one Herioc class a bit unbalancing? Shouldn't classes/races be added in pairs?

Your thoughts?

That's a good point. I feel it is a bit strange because I just KNOW everybody is going to want to be that heroic class... Should have added two, preferably a heroic HEALING class. Healers are very few and far between nowadays....

Rumor has it there will be future Heroic classes in future expansions.

Yes, they've wanted to add heroic classes ever since the game was first in beta - this is just the first stepping stone.
