PvP Templates on Siege

I am new to Seige, and one of the reasons I came here was to learn to PvP without either having to wear the most expensive suit the gold can buy or playing a template that relies soley on ganks to be effective. So my question is what templates are sucessfull on Seige that can be played well 1 on 1 or for Champs etc... I have already started a Fighter/Bushido Char and have on more account to add a second char to. I am also currious as to which guilds are the best at teaching PvP to newbies.

When you mean Wrestle mage, I assume you mean mostly to disarm method and
trapping with Para+Energy Fields+Poison Field etc.
What is the break down of the skills that you suggest?
Skills = Magery, Eval Int, Resist, Wrestling, plus others.
Do you use Tactics or Anatomy with Wrestling?
Do you use Poisoning skill with Poison spells?

Absolutely.

Still, at least you can be more competitive with a GM suit and 1/2 rings/bracelets than you can on a non-Siege server.

no , I mean wrestling skill gives you defense to melee or archery attacks
with high DCI disarm is not nessary, but its damn nice to use against dismount archers.

once a mage learns how to fight trapping isn't always necessary
and most times para will be countered faster than a wall can be put up

skills:
wrestling
magery
eval
resist
med
and another optional skill

no need for tactics to use specials with wrestle
poisoning would be better used with a weapon skill

Maybe Croaker should use English language instead of Programming language
to make a statement. It is a game on this forum to say this and that is some
of the weirdest ways possible. I was just guessing what he meant by the

The &lt;sarcasm&gt;&lt;/sarcasm&gt; tags indicate that I don't think that template is a PvP template, unless the second "P" refers to "pet" instead of "player".

I don't understand how fictitious html tags could be inferred as scripting however.

You will have a lot of fun with that samurai. try to get 120 dex so you can swing heavy weapons like ornate axes. PM me, I might have a weapon you can use.

That's all I PvP in... pots, apples, regs, an 0/2 ring, and a player crafted barbed leather suit... I'm good to go.

I don't die to anything less than 3-5 people on average.

and since Im constantly training some random skill to soulstone and fill up my soul stones... I've only ever been a wrestle mage for the past 2 years.

Honestly... you don't need anything more...

Practice makes you competitive... and most don't bother with it.

Don't get me wrong! I come from a non-Siege server. If I had my CRAPPY suit from Baja on this shard, it would be a suit that no one would want to lose.

Even so - I was the absolute underdog in that suit on a regular shard. Bottom of the barrel - not because I wasn't good... because I didn't have a ton of artifacts or a million barbed kits to burn.

Siege is a breath of fresh air, that's all!
