A Jousting Tournament will be held at the PGoH Jousting Arena on Saturday April the 5th at 9 PM Eastern. The arena is located to the north of Trinsic at 78o 55'S 36o 59'E.
Entry Fee:
10,000 gold. Please bring it in check form at least 15 minutes before the tournament starts.
Awards:
Will vary based on the number of entrants. First place will receive fifty percent of the entry fees. Second place will receive thirty percent. Third place will receive twenty percent.
Rules:
Armor:
No hit chance or defense chance increase on armor, no gloves.
Must have a shield and helmet.
Jewelry:
none
Mounts:
Standard Horses only, No ethereal mounts.
Lances:
Lances will be provided.
Clothing:
Anything that covers armor is not allowed.
Scoring:
Contestants will score a point for each succesful dismount. The first contestant to reach three points will win the round. If both contestants are dismounted at the same time then both will receive a point. If it results in a tie then the next contestant to score a point will win.
Rounds will continue until the first, second, and third place winners are decided.
(Note - attacking of mounts will result in automatic disqualification.)
