A lovely person showed me a great way to train Magery/Eval on pets the other week which I have been using and it has been working well, especially with whisper mastery 
. It is a hell of alot easier than the Paragon Cu Sidhe tactic in Twisted Weald. Thought I'd share it with you all.
Basically you go to this location in Ter Mur shown below, stick your pets on the little Island there, then you go and lure a 'Ortanord' over which looks like a wisp. These Ortanords seem to be immune to any damage the pet throws at them just like a shadow Iron elemental. The Ortanords cast as well but their spells do hardly any damage really, might do more damage if you use it for a long time and its eval goes up.
Now in the picture I was not using an Ortanord as I just lured over a monster as an example to show you.
