On Atlantic I am developing two crafts-elves. One is a general woodworker with lumberjacking, and the other is a metalworker/tailor with mining. I'm considering making a third character who could fight the ore elementals, and who would receive the lumberjacking and mining skills from the other two. His template would be something like:
elf
---
120: swords
100: tactics, parry
100: healing, anatomy
100: mining, lumberjacking
90/120/20 str/dex/int
* How would this character do against the various ore elementals?
* Would magic resist be a better choice than parry?
* Would moving the resource gathering skills from the other two have any negative repurcussions on them?
* Any other suggestions or comments?
If I do this, i'd probably change the original two craftsmen to human. I made them elves specifically to have a higher chance of getting colored ores and wood, but if they arent resourcing any more, the human JoaT and Strong Back racial characteristics seem a better choice than permanent Night Sight.
