No access to locked down Cocoa Tree

I have a Cocoa tree locked down on the roof of my home and the only way I can access it to feed and water is to unlock it.
Has anyone else had this problem?

It's not just the cocoa trees for me. It's all of them.

On day 7 of their growth cycle all of mine became locked down trees which can only be accessed by unlocking them and putting them in my pack. What a pain in the keyboard.

Is this normal?

There seems to be a bug that won't let you access them while locked down but you can if you have them in your backpack. And I think it came with the new publish because I had no problems till then.
