Strange Pillars Emerge!

Reports are pouring in of newfound eerily powered pillars appearing among the landscape of all player run villages and townships around the realm. From Guardians Gate to the shores of Pitmuck, every city has had the same deviously ominous addition appear. Unknown are its origins however we must all be alert as surely something wicked this way cometh! Speculation is already abound from the treachery of Mazrim to Virtuebane himself, no one is quite sure what to make of these appearances. Also noted were to appearance of O'hii trees nearby.

Well Gareth *is* or was a mage... I wonder if he fell down a well and turned into a lich in secrecy? It would explain a lot!

An integral part of becoming a lich is creating a magic phylactery in which the character stores its life force. As a rule, the only way to get rid of a lich for sure is to destroy its phylactery. Unless its phylactery is located and destroyed, a lich reappears 10 days after its apparent death.
