Time once again for Story Night at the Castle. Please join us with your tales or to listen to our talented troubadours this Thursday, February 11th at 8pm est. The castle is located west of Britain along the mountain.

And here I've been sitting there for 12 minutes wondering where everyone was??
Thought my age was kicking in and I had wondered into the wrong house ,,,,,,again.....

Legends has some very talented storytellers as evidenced by tonight's offerings. The evening was hosted by Rumil of Lorain who began with a tale of The Paladin and the Drow Princess. Without giving too much of it away (I am hopeful that after the entire tale is told it will be posted here) I will tell you that it begins with the meeting of a novice paladin and a female drow in an ancient place of worship. Rumil takes us into the night and into the hearts of the players with attention to detail regarding circumstance and setting. Tonight we heard only the first half of the story..... the rest will be told at the next Story Night (which cannot be soon enough for me!).

Rumil was followed by Penderrin who recited The Boy Who Never Cried (by Steve Earl). Being a Steve Earl fan this was a treat, but I'm also a Penderrin fan! *hint*

Next up was Hippolyte who told us (keeping in mind the flurry of activity in the Underworld lately) the mythology of Medusa.

Penderrin purloined another tale, this time from Lady Synclaire, and gave us the story of Vasher in the tale Just a Pet.

Uriah Heep, romantic that he is, recited the poem What Love Is, and never blushed once. The evening finished off with a round robin story about a man with holes in his shoes...... and I know that it ended with Hippolyte giving it the boot

Darn! I totally forgot about it, and made plans to go out last night. Right in the middle of our dinner I realized, Oh no!! Im missing story night!! I was depressed the rest of the night
