[News] Start time for the Blackrock Detector Event Tonight

Blackrock Detector Event Schedule as posted by Jeremy Dalberg
Has the Catskills start times listed as:

Friday,3/28/08, 9PM EST
Saturday, 3/28/08, 9PM EST

(These are the scheduled portions of the event, there will be more to do over the next few weeks as well.)
They recommend that the players bring some blackrock for some unknown purpose. If you have any extra please bring it for those players who have failed to collect any, so they too can take part in the event.
It also has been noted that, * This event is optimized for the 2D experience, please enable your sound option as well*

I hope to see many of you there tonight, for our first major event in a very long time.

Hope someone else can guess what is running through Draconi's mind after seeing this post to a question in Uhall tonight.

Judging from Draconi's posts, you won't be "left out" from the rest of the event.
You will be missing some "special effects" that will affect those who attended today with blackrock in their backpack, but you can still take part in day two (like all the other people who didn't show up, or who showed up without any blackrock).

Edit, retracting what I said: according to Draconi's last post, apparently whoever showed up today will see something special tomorrow, blackrock or not.

No, it wasn't. Time will tell tomorrow for everyone who showed up, blackrock holding or no.

As we mentioned multiple times, this event was the setup. But if you had missed tonight, and came tomorrow and saw what those who came today get, you'd have been even *more* upset if we'd simply downplayed the importance of today.

I also wanted to throw a special thanks out to Philomena for handing out for free so much blackrock last night. It was very kind of her to do that, and it may make many players night tonight that they had some on them last evening.

Yes she deserves credit for handing out the BR. I went to the event without a piece and was glad she gave me one. She is very nice for doing that.
